The importance of face detection and recognition!

Today, we would like to introduce you to a customer who is actually using Face ID, one of ARGOS' products.

We heard about Luckmon's service story and ARGOS' role through Luckmon, which values user experience.

Game loyalty platform startup based on US network - 'Luckmon'

Luckmon is a gaming loyalty platform that rewards you for playing your favorite mobile games. Luckmon believed that games should reward players for their effort regardless of their level. To reflect this, Luckmon users were given benefits such as gift cards and items in addition to playing their favorite games.

How did Luckmon benefit its users?

Luckmon has added in-app items, including tickets, to the store and has also made in-app items like gems and tickets available for purchase. As explained earlier, we place great importance on user experience, so we listen to user feedback and constantly improve our services to reflect them. By creating an immersive and intuitive UI/UX in the game, we have increased the satisfaction of service users.

As of last year, Luckmon supported a total of more than 144 games, allowing users to enjoy a variety of games. This year, you can check out even more games!

So how do you use the Luckmon platform?

First, sign up for the Luckmon app and select a game to proceed. The higher the level of the game, the more rewards you can earn by completing various missions.

Issues that may arise with game rewards! 'Multiple Account Users'

Luckmon introduced loyalty to provide a variety of experiences while playing the game from the user's perspective. However, in order to obtain rewards, there were multiple account fraud users trying to obtain rewards with multiple macro accounts.

If multiple accounts are created, companies may face problems such as difficulty in securing accurate number of users and data, lack of resources due to increased server load, and poor quality. In particular, if you receive multiple rewards, the reliability of the company may decrease due to issues with service fairness.

To prevent such malicious access and the resulting problems, Luckmon needed a system to prevent multiple accounts from being created in the process of receiving rewards.

‘Face recognition’ selected by Luckmon to prevent multiple account fraudulent users

Luckmon introduced ARGOS's Face ID, a facial recognition solution, to identify and prevent service users from using multiple accounts.

Due to the nature of the service, Luckmon needed a prevention system to check whether users were multiple account users when receiving rewards rather than signing up and purchasing gift cards and items. Below is a user flow that briefly shows the process of Luckmon's service process and ARGOS's Face ID.

ARGOS's Face ID service

As you can see in the image above, when ARGOS's Face ID detects a multi-account user in Luckmon, the service user who owns the corresponding account will proceed with ARGOS's Face ID. Users are verified for multiple accounts through Face Liveness. If multiple accounts are detected, the gift card request will be rejected; if multiple accounts are not present, a gift card will be issued.

How will ARGOS' facial recognition (Face ID) appear in Luckmon?

In fact, aren't you curious about how Luckmon users use ARGOS's Face ID?

When you go to Luckmon's 'shop' tab with rewards earned through the game, you will see items you can purchase! When you make a purchase, a facial recognition process will appear. (However, to explain the Face ID process, some of the preceding steps have been omitted.)

Any company interested in preventing multiple account users can easily deploy advanced facial recognition capabilities for user authentication and duplicate detection.

ARGOS facial recognition (Face ID) is used by approximately 2,000 to 3,000 people every month! What's the difference?

After Luckmon introduced ARGOS's Face ID, approximately 2,000 to 3,000 people are using Face ID based on monthly usage. Luckmon chose ARGOS because of its customer-specific features and service offerings and price competitiveness. Not only is it simple because it does not require separate client integration, but it is also most optimized when targeting 'multi-account fraudulent users', eliminating the inconvenience of Luckmon having to check separately.

Today, we looked at Luckmon and ARGOS Face ID, which Luckmon chose to prevent multiple account users. Was this helpful? We hope this will be helpful to companies that are concerned about creating multiple accounts or to companies that want to expand their business.

Next, we will listen to the cases of various customers who are using ARGOS products and introduce how they are expanding their business.
